Aiken County Pony Club (ACPC) was started in 1998 by Sporting Days owner Joannah Glass. ACPC has existed in various forms over the years and has blossomed into a vibrant and growing club with deep roots in Aiken’s Equestrian community. Each rider plays an important role in the club. Though they compete as individuals in yearly competitions (aka rallies), they work closely together all year long as a team in a spirit of comardarie and good sportsmanship. ACPC is part of a greater network of equestrians and sportsmen through the Regional and National Organizations.
What makes ACPC unique? ACPC has experienced growth in the last few years in large part because of the commitment of Professional Equestrians and Facility owners. Through this amazing network and the depth and breadth of the Aiken Equestrian community, ACPC members and their families have experienced unique opportunities available to no other clubs in the country, such as touring the facility of top esquestrian Doug Payne, meeting coach David O’Connor, being coached by Vista owner, Tom Caniglia, participating in rating prep clinics with top trainers Richard Lamb and Janna Ritacco, and experiencing monthly lessons with top riders including 4* Eventer Jenny Caras, top riders Caitlin Silliman, Mike Robins, and many more. The time is now! Come join in the fun and be part of this vibrant, growing club!
